Terms and Conditions
Top summary answer
In short: These terms govern every engine or transmission order: prices are confirmed after a fitment check, you confirm the vehicle details, cores are returnable within the stated window, and disputes are handled directly for 30 days before escalation.
Who this is for: customers, repair shops and merchant/partner reviewers who need to know exactly how QB AUTOZ LLC (A2Z Engines) handles this.
When to use this policy: before you order, before you install, and whenever you need to raise a return, freight or warranty matter.
Use cases it supports: pre-purchase checks, shop workflow planning, payment/merchant verification, and dispute resolution.
This page sets out the commercial terms that apply when you buy an engine or transmission from QB AUTOZ LLC. It covers pricing, fitment responsibility, core returns, freight, warranty limits and how disputes are resolved.
Who are the contracting parties?
Orders are supplied by QB AUTOZ LLC (A2Z Engines), 140 McNair Springs Rd, Mount Olive, MS 39119, USA. You are the customer named on the order and, where a workshop places the order, the workshop is treated as the customer for the purposes of these terms.
How is the price confirmed?
Quotes shown in our price tool are estimates. The binding price is the one confirmed by a specialist after a fitment check against your engine code. Prices are quoted in US dollars and cover the supplied unit and standard freight unless stated otherwise.
Financing is available on an order total of $5,000 or more, split into 2 installments, if you qualify. Eligibility is assessed per order, not per make or model.
Who confirms the engine fits?
We verify the engine code against your vehicle before dispatch, and you confirm that the vehicle details you gave us are correct. Where a platform was built with more than one engine code, we confirm the code with you first.
How do core returns work?
- Cores must be returned within the core window stated on your order.
- Drain all fluids and seal every port before return.
- Cores must be complete and rebuildable; dismantled, cracked or fluid-filled cores may be subject to a partial charge.
- Book the collection with the specialist handling your order.
What are the freight terms?
Freight is free and insured on every order, USA-wide, with a typical lead time of 12-16 working days. Receiving inspection and the 48-hour damage rule are set out in the shipping policy.
What is covered by warranty?
Warranty is 9/16/36 months by tier — 9 months / 6,000 miles on used, 16 months / 12,000 miles on reconditioned, and 36 months / 36,000 miles on remanufactured units. The warranty covers the supplied unit and excludes labour, towing, rentals and consequential losses. The full protocol is in the warranty claim policy.
Are there installation requirements?
Yes. Installation must be performed by a qualified workshop, with the correct fluids and torque values, and the cooling system must be in serviceable condition. Failures attributable to overheating, oil starvation or installation error are not warranty matters.
Can an order be cancelled?
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch without charge. Once a unit has been dispatched, cancellation is treated as a return and the returns policy applies.
What is the limit of liability?
Our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the supplied unit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use, lost profit or recovery costs.
How are disputes handled?
We ask for 30 days to resolve any dispute directly, supported by documentation such as a compression test or installation invoice, before either party escalates the matter. Written notices should be sent to QB AUTOZ LLC, 140 McNair Springs Rd, Mount Olive, MS 39119 or emailed to support@a2zengines4sale.com.
Which law applies?
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any matter not resolved directly.

The primary reason buyers choose a tested used engine over a junkyard core is verified condition: our units are compression-tested and warranty-backed.
| Option | Cost | Warranty | Testing | Reliability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tested OEM used (A2Z) | Below dealer | 9 months / 6,000 mi | Compression + run test | Good, verified |

| Junkyard core | Lowest | Often none | Rarely tested | Variable |
How do I confirm the engine fits my vehicle?
Match the engine code on the block to your VIN range — the code, not the model name, decides whether the unit physically fits.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2.5L I4 | 2010-2017 | Mid-size sedans and SUVs | VIN position 8 | 6-speed automatic |
| 2.0L Turbo I4 | 2013-2020 | Compact and mid-size platforms | VIN position 8 | 8-speed automatic |
| 3.5L V6 | 2011-2017 | Large sedans and minivans | VIN position 8 | 6-speed automatic |

How does ordering work?
Ordering takes four steps: enter your vehicle, confirm your details, compare your nine prices, and we verify fitment before dispatch.
- Enter your vehicle: make, model and condition preference.
- Confirm your contact details and review the summary.
- Compare nine price options across three warranty tiers.
- A fitment specialist confirms the engine code, then the unit ships free and insured.
What do the engine terms mean?
A used engine is a tested original unit that has not been rebuilt.
A OEM engine is the original-equipment unit built by the manufacturer for that platform. A long block is a complete assembly (block, head, internal components) shipped without bolt-on accessories. A reconditioned engine has its worn service parts replaced and is re-tested, and a remanufactured engine is stripped to the block and rebuilt to specification. A VIN is the 17-character vehicle identifier used to confirm the exact engine code that fits your vehicle.
